As an adoption advocate, I think it is important that I keep people informed about dogs out there that desperately need to find their forever homes. And so, in my head, the Adopt a Dog Featurette was born! The first dog we are featuring today is Angus. Please read on to learn more about Angus, where he is waiting for you to pick him up, and to see a lovely video of him!
Angus is a male, 25 month old German Shepard mix. He is at the Hamilton Burlington SPCA and has been there for about two months now. Prior to that, he was at the Fort Erie SPCA for a YEAR! Can you imagine being in a shelter for 14 months? There is no dog who needs a home more desperately at the HBSPCA than Angus.
Angus is described by shelter staff as a playful dog who simply loves to play fetch and have a run along side you. If you’re a jogging enthusiast or even a camping fanatic, no dog would make a better mate for you. If you visit him at the shelter, as I have, you will see him barking at you or running in circles, chasing his tail. He’s just letting you know that he wants to play and really can’t wait to meet you!
Check out the video of this sweet, sweet dog whose eyes scream, “I just want to love you!” Won’t you give Angus a chance and go meet him? If you’re interested in learning more about Angus or if you’d like to go meet him, visit the HBSPCA website for more information.
